Your journey begins right at Orio al Serio, at Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY). We have redefined hospitality for the modern cyclist: by eliminating transfers and downtime, we get you in the saddle the moment you land. Premium cycle tourism doesn’t wait: it starts right here, where the world meets Bergamo. Città Alta is one of Northern Italy’s most stunning historical and architectural landmarks. Its Venetian walls, medieval lanes, and sweeping views over the Lombardy plains make it the perfect destination for a high-end cultural cycling experience. This project was born to offer more than just a bike tour; it is a complete sensory journey blending outdoor activity, cultural discovery, and fine dining, distinguished by the excellence of our services and professional team. Our diverse packages are tailored to meet every visitor's needs, while always ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and curation. Our most comprehensive and immersive option is designed for those who want a deep dive into Città Alta. In addition to the bike tour and lunch at La Ripa Ristorante, the experience includes a private tour with professional guide Tosca Rossi. Renowned for her impressive expertise and vast knowledge of art history, Tosca turns every visit into a journey through time. Her years of experience in cultural heritage and storytelling reveal the most authentic soul of the Upper City through its art, architecture, and hidden tales.

The route:

On the horizon, the unmistakable silhouette of Città Alta stands out, perched on the hill and protected by its ancient ramparts. As you enter Bergamo Bassa, the city feels elegant and vibrant. The Sentierone—the traditional heart of local life—leads you toward the Donizetti Theater, a landmark of the city’s musical heritage and a tribute to the great composer Gaetano Donizetti. Continuing on, historic streets give way to quieter corners where nature begins to overtake the urban rhythm. The ascent begins, leading you to one of the city's most powerful symbols: the Venetian Walls. A UNESCO World Heritage site, these walls bear witness to Bergamo’s past as a fortress. From this vantage point, the view opens up over rooftops, rolling hills, and distant horizons. Entering the heart of Città Alta, time seems to slow down. The stones, squares, and ancient gates speak of centuries of history. It is here that the experience is enriched by an authentic break in a traditional setting, where local flavors become a lasting memory. The journey continues through the hills surrounding Bergamo, crossing intimate, lush landscapes that reveal the city from unexpected angles. The return is gradual, leaving you with the feeling of having discovered not just a place, but the very essence of Bergamo.

The most authentic way to experience the city.
